Something did: we got to borrow a car all weekend, which meant we got to go to a wedding. We danced our socks off! I found this on Facebook of us; I had a total blast with my dancing partner!
We had a blast Saturday and Sunday was great as it was fun and relaxing. A productive but restful day :)I took today off. We had to take care of some car stuff, and it was a blessing to have some more time to just rest.
We got a package in the mail today from Matt's folks:
OK are you ready to meet our new car, a 1995 Subaru Legacy with 77K miles on it:Uh oh. It came with a Jesus fish on it. We need to be good drivers now! Joking...the guy we bought it from was great. He cut us a sweeeet deal. We are so grateful!
So we just feel really blessed. We have one big thing on our list figured out. Next: picking Matt's grad school...
I hope you all had a great day!

Yea! Congrats on the new car! One thing down, now onto the next one...
I'm so glad you have a better vehicle - I knew that Bronco was gunna die. You were sure fortunate that it died at home, in the driveway, and not out on the prairie in 103 heat.
Hooray for new, reliable cars! :o) I'm just sorry your Bronco died just the same. :oS
The wedding looks like it was a blast! Look how happy you two are! :o)
So glad you were able to find a car and just in time. And get to the wedding. And still have a good weekend!
Hoping the grad school stuff all works out well for you too.
I've heard those cars run forever, I hope your new one does! Those are lots of big life decisions! I don't envy you guys ... it's great you're prayerfully considering your options.
That wedding looks fun! Glad you got to laugh this weekend between the big purchase!
Congrats on the new car - sorry about the breakdown though. And the heat makes it even worse!
And look at you getting your dance on - way to put the bad behind you!
