Another Reason to Visit DC

"State of Play" is currently filming all around DC. I saw Russell Crowe a few weeks ago, while walking in the rain by the Library of Congress. Then last night while out running with a co-worker, we saw him again by the Southeast waterfront! Another runner with us snapped this picture of him after we left. She got to meet him...but I wanted dinner and a shower :) The film set is pretty incredible. So much work goes into the lighting, sound, color, details - there were so many folks working on this one scene that they set up all day for, and it was filmed in four takes. Crazy.

Speaking of running, my Cherry Blossom Ten-Miler race is on Sunday! I have been training for it since last year. I like long distance, paced running - none of that fast business, so here is to hoping that I can finish within the required time!

Also...

TUNE IN ON FRIDAY MORNING to the TODAY SHOW to catch these fine men. My favorites, The New Kids on the Block. Oh I am a fifth grader again...

I will take my camera out this weekend for some more Cherry Blossom shots, and hopefully after I recover from the race on Sunday I will put up some pics. :)

Happy Friday-Eve, all!

As for NKOTB, well, I wasn't a huge fan then, but, I gotta tell ya, the boys have aged BEAUTIFULLY! Wow! I may just be a fan now! ;o)

"she got to meet him....but I wanted dinner and a shower." Ruhiyyih, his wife would really, really object to that!" Shame on you! :)

Good luck with the marathon on Sunday.

Haha that is a funny, a simple twist of the words.
Hey how are you feeling after your shots? Have you had the Yellow Fever one?
